Program Highlights

The APL Ventures Fellowship Program is a selective, hands-on educational experience for aspiring investors seeking practical exposure to venture capital. Fellows build a strong foundation in venture investing through structured learning, guided due diligence, portfolio analysis, and research on transformative technologies. Throughout the program, fellows work closely with the APL Ventures team and receive direct feedback designed to sharpen their investment judgment, analytical rigor, and understanding of how high-conviction venture opportunities are evaluated.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitive landscape research across priority technology sectors

  • Support due diligence on prospective investment opportunities

  • Develop sector-specific research and preliminary investment theses

  • Prepare concise research notes for internal discussion

  • Participate in select founder, investor, and ecosystem meetings, as appropriate

Who Should Apply

The program is designed for exceptional undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers with strong analytical skills and a serious interest in venture investing and transformative technologies. Prior venture capital experience is not required.
